2. Hosting and server log files
This website runs on servers of netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, in Germany. When you visit, the web server processes your IP address, time, requested address, status code and browser identifier to deliver the website and defend against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest. A data processing agreement is in place with netcup.
3. Contact form and email
When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process your details (name, email address, optional company, message) to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The message is delivered to us by email via IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, and is additionally stored for processing on our server in Germany – including when the email delivery fails, so your request is not lost. To prevent abuse, your IP address is counted briefly in memory and not stored. We delete requests once they are handled and no retention obligations apply.
4. A2Creators Studio waitlist
If you join the waitlist on the A2Creators Studio page, we store your email address, the selected language and the time in order to inform you once when sales start. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use a double opt-in procedure: you are only on the list after clicking the confirmation link in our email (sent via IONOS SE, see above). If you do not confirm within 7 days, we delete the address automatically. We do not store your IP address; to prevent abuse it is only counted briefly and hashed in memory. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in the email or by writing to info@a2genesis.de; we then delete your address immediately. Otherwise we delete it once we have informed you that sales have started.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies. We use self-hosted, cookieless analytics (our own implementation, no third party): on each page view we record the page visited, a coarsely normalized referrer, the language, and the device, browser and operating system family. Your IP address is not stored; instead we form a daily-rotating, anonymous identifier (a hash of a random value generated fresh each day, the IP address and the browser identifier) that no longer allows recognition after the day changes. Data is not shared with third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring reach (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you send "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control", we do not collect any data. Your choice between the light and dark color scheme is stored only locally in your browser (localStorage) and is never transmitted to us.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Contact us at info@a2genesis.de. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
7. Platform
The use of the platform at platform.a2genesis.de is governed by its own privacy policy.
